Together, their deep experience across wildfire operations, firefighting technology and intelligence, and strategic partnership formation will support the company’s next phase of growth.
Shea LeBrun – Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, LeBrun will lead EMBERPOINT™’s technology strategy, platform development, and engineering organization, ensuring the delivery of scalable, field-ready solutions.
LeBrun brings over 20 years of experience across Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Command and Control (C2) programs at Lockheed Martin. Most recently, she served as Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems’ Firefighting Intelligence Chief Engineer, leading complex, cross-functional technical efforts to rapidly develop and deliver a comprehensive technical execution plan for high-priority initiatives. She has extensive experience translating customer requirements into fielded capability, shaping research and development strategies, and developing technical roadmaps for ISR and C2 solutions.
Benjamin Berman – Vice President, Wildfire Systems Operations
As Vice President of Wildfire Systems Operations, Berman will lead operator engagement and forge strategic collaborations with fire agencies, utilities, and community partners, ensuring that operational insight informs both product development and broader company engagement.
Berman brings over 26 years of experience in aviation and emergency-response leadership across federal, state, and local agencies. He most recently served as Chief of Air Operations for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Previously, Berman served as the Rotary Wing Program Manager & Chief Pilot at California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), where he led the S-70i™ FIREHAWK® transition and authored statewide aviation policy, procedures, and standards for all California aerial resources. Earlier in his career, he spent over two decades with the United States Coast Guard, exercising incident-response leadership during major disasters at the federal, state, and local levels.
Kate Grammer – Vice President, Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Grammer will lead partnership initiatives and help deliver EMBERPOINT™’s capabilities to fire‑service agencies and private‑sector partners.
Grammer brings 20 years of experience at Sikorsky Aircraft Company, most recently serving as Business Development Lead for Advanced Concepts and S-70i™ FIREHAWK®, where she led critical company pursuits, converting complex technical opportunities into results and establishing durable pipelines across U.S. and international customers. Previous roles include Sales Support Manager for Latin America and Business Acquisition Manager for Brazil and the Caribbean, managing in-country customer relationships.
